Privacy policy

Veyro ("we") installs security cameras and video doorbells in Ontario. We take the privacy of your information, and of your home, seriously. This policy explains what we collect through this website and our services, why, and the choices you have. It is written to meet Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- What you type into our form: your first name, phone number, town, the areas you'd like covered, the best time to call, and any note you add.
- Basic technical information: the page you were on, the website that sent you here, any campaign tags in the link, and your browser type. We store a scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address only to block spam and abuse.
- If you become a customer: your address, the equipment installed, and the records needed for your quote, invoice and warranty.
We don't use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Your browser keeps a small note of how you found us (for example, which ad you clicked); it stays on your device and is only sent to us if you submit the form. Cloudflare, which protects this site, may set a strictly necessary security cookie. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you.
How we use it
- To call or text you back about your request and book your consultation.
- To quote, install, invoice and support your system, including warranty service.
- To understand which of our advertising brings people to us, in aggregate.
We never sell or rent your information, and we don't send marketing you didn't ask for.
Your cameras and recordings
Your system records to a recorder inside your home. We do not have access to your cameras or recordings, and we never log in to your system without your permission. If you ask us to help with your system, we access it only for that purpose, and only while helping you.
Who helps us run this website
Our website traffic passes through Cloudflare, which protects the site from attacks and may check that form submissions come from a real person. Notifications about new requests are delivered to us through a messaging service. These providers only process information to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
Requests that don't become a job are deleted within 24 months. Customer records are kept for as long as needed for your warranty and for the tax records the law requires (generally six years).
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted (except records we must keep by law). Email hello@veyrohome.caor call (647) 994-2089. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Camera placement and your neighbours
We aim cameras at the customer's own property and can block out parts of a view, like a neighbour's window, so they aren't recorded.
