How much does a system cost?
Most homes land between about $1,600 and $3,300 plus HST, paid once, depending on how many cameras you need. You get an exact written price at your free consultation, before anything is booked.
Are there any monthly fees?
No. Your cameras record to a small recorder in your home, so there is nothing to subscribe to. Watching from your phone is free.
How long does installation take?
Most homes are finished in a single day. We run and hide the cables, mount and aim every camera, set up the app on each phone in the house, and walk you through it before we leave.
Do I need strong Wi-Fi?
No. The cameras connect by cable to the recorder, which plugs into your internet router, so they do not rely on Wi-Fi. You need internet to watch from away from home, and everything keeps recording even if the internet goes down.
Can everyone in the family see the cameras?
Yes. We set up the app on every phone and tablet you want, and you choose who gets alerts.
What if something stops working?
Every system comes with a 2-year parts and labour warranty. Call or text and we will sort it out, usually without you having to take time off.
